Particularly relevant skills can include a background in Physics, Algorithms, Parallel computing, Mathematical analysis, Optimization, and all areas of Control. Candidates should have an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

Eligibility: Students must have a 2.1, first class honors or equivalent from a top 100 university as per AWRU, USNWR or other major ranking system. For non-UK students, an undergraduate GPA of 3.6 (US), 90 (China), 18(Iran), 8(India), 9.0 (Mexico) is required. Other countries will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

A fully funded PhD position is available in the Cybernetic Systems and Controls Lab (CSCL) in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Arizona State University. Funding includes tuition, a 12-month stipend of up to $2000/mo, travel and expenses. Applications are accepted until June 1, 2018 or until the position is filled.
